Summarizer-Literature Circles

  1. Jerry is told that people think waht he is doing is good and many people support his decision not to sell the chocolates.
  2. Jerry says that he wont sell the chocolates again when Brother Leon asks him at the roll call that day.
  3. Goober talks to Jerry and says that he should consider selling the chocolates.
  4. Jerry states that he keeps denying to sell the chocolates because he has a poster in his locker that says "Do I dare disturb the universe?"
  5. Obie thinks that Archie tipped off the new teacher Brother Jacques about the Vigils.

These are the most important points in the book. One of the more important one I think you posted is when Goober wants Jerry to sell the chocolates. Jerry then says that he is doing it because of himself. I think he is feeling internal struggles.

This is an important part. Jerry also says that he is getting into a routien of denying the choclates eveyday and even though he wants to say yes he still says no.

The summary is stating the main points in this section of the book. When Jerry refuses to sell the chocolates this is a main point. Also, when it shows why Jerry might not want to sell the Chocolates because of the poster on his locker.

This is a very important part in the book. Jerry keeps saying no to selling the chocolates, but he internal struggles and he wants to say yes.
