In this reading many people are starting to realize that Jerry Renault doesn't have such a bad idea in not selling any chocolates. This has a connection to everyday life. Everyone gets lazy and give up on things just like Jerry does. It happens all the time in our lives.Also, Archie realizes that this specific assignment he gave out wasn't such a good idea after all. This relates to the fact that people relie on their good ideas too much and that sometimes they fall through and don't work like you would want them to.
