Reflection

The Chocolate War was a great book. It was about a football team that was holding tryouts. Jerry Renault, a skinny and weak boy. Even though he was weak he still tried out, he got knocked down and made fun of but he still managed to persevere. By the end of the book Jerry manages to stand up 58 to everyone especially when he still refused to sell the chocolate even when the Vigils ended the assignment. This book reminds me of everyday life and how a lot of people stand up for what they believe in and how it could change your life.
